Bethany United Methodist Church is located at 570 W. Bakersville-Edie Road, high in the Laurel Mountains, just below Hidden Valley and Seven Springs Ski Resorts. We are an active outgoing church family looking for ways to help our neighbors, both here in Somerset as well as out in the world. The Bethany congregation is currently at a membership of 169 and growing.

Bethany Church is a place where we actively worship and praise God, uplifting and energizing each other through Christian love, fellowship, education and acceptance! Everyone is welcome and encouraged to witness God’s message!

To provide leadership, connection, and resources to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Vision
To ignite and sustain a passionate, spiritual connection with Christ among all people in Western Pennsylvania.
Core Value
Our core value is love. We love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, minds and strength, and we love our neighbors as ourselves. This value is commanded by Jesus, inspired by our Wesleyan heritage including to spread scriptural holiness over the land, and witnessed through our integrity, accountability and inclusiveness.
